Try this simple BARE process before giving up:

1. What is the task?
2. When is it due?
3. When will you start?

B= break up the task

• [ ] Review the task and break it into smaller steps: what do you need to do in each step?

A= allocate time

• [ ] Allocate an amount of time to each step

R= reward yourself for each step you complete

• [ ] Decide on a reward for each step you complete

E= environmental control

• [ ] Identify distractions and how you will minimise them

Do a separate BARE table for each task you have and you’ll keep on top them all.
